Who we are

Oakbee Stays is a trading name of Ishaq Property Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17367439). We are the data controller for the personal information described in this notice.

What we collect

Enquiry details — your name, email, phone number, company name, requested dates and anything you write in the message box.
Booking details — guest names, address, arrival and departure dates, and any access or accessibility requirements you tell us about.
Payment details — handled entirely by our payment provider Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Identity checks — where required, a copy of photo ID for the lead guest.
Website data — basic analytics about how people use this site, if enabled.

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry and manage your booking — this is necessary to perform our contract with you.
To take payment and issue invoices or receipts.
To meet legal obligations, including tax records and, where applicable, identity and anti-fraud checks.
To protect the property and resolve any damage or dispute — our legitimate interest as the operator.
To send occasional offers, only if you have asked us to. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

We share information only where we need to: with our payment provider, our booking and channel management software our channel management software, our cleaning and maintenance contractors (limited to arrival and departure dates), our accountant, and with authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your data to anyone.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become bookings are deleted after 12 months. Booking and payment records are kept for six years to meet HMRC requirements. Copies of ID are deleted within 30 days of check-out.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. Email info@oakbeestays.co.uk and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies

This website uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so no consent banner is needed. If we later add a booking calendar or analytics, we will update this notice and ask for your consent first.
